bass on river

I would guess it's still a little early. When the walleyes are moving up and in full swing(which is around now), you will likely find a few active fish, but they'll bite much better in a couple weeks. But heck, it's worth a shot!

I was on pool 2 on Saturday, The fishing was very slow meaning I did not catch a thing. The water temp was around 46 degrees and the river was moving fast. A lot of trees were floating down the river so keep a eye on where you are going. I tried shallow, middle, and deep and threw everything in the boat. I have never had a lot of success on pool 2 but that dont mean much. I think it is a little early butI'm going to give it a shot again this next weekend. I sure is nice to fish with reel gear.

I would like to go Sat. I have never fished pool 2 and not sure where and how to go to put the boat in.

So help on that would be great. Oh and a baitshop in the area to get a map. Need to know where those wingdams are.
