HC just killed off a penalty 15 left in the first.

Potulny's line had a good shift. Other than that, what an ugly period for us Gopher fans. They aren't winning races to the puck. That penalty by Atherton was one of the worst I have seen.

The goophers look about as dead-legged as they did last weekend. I'm as big of a UM fan as anyone, but these guys don't deserve to win with the lazy way they continue to play. I can somewhat forgive the performance last weekend, as they knew they had the NCAA to look forward to, but they better decide to play soon or they'll be done soon. Donnie better light a pretty big fire under their arses between periods. As much as it pains me to say it, they don't have a chance against the SUE if they don't step things up about 5 notches (if they even make it that far).

I'm starting to hope they lose tonight, because if they play like this against the SUE, it's gonna be big time ugly & I'd hate to have to listen to the SUE fans for an entire year (again).

WOW!!! This is looking more & more like last Friday night. Only I'll loose my voice at my house instead of in the Xcel. Hopefully the Goph's can come out on top this time. They seem to be trying to hard instead of just shooting when it feels right.
