Not sure if you are archery or gun hunting. If you are gun hunting, and are on a budget, I have had good luck with the following. (private land, not allowed to put up stands)

Several weeks before season, I place several plastic lawn chairs in good spots. I make sure I have some decent cover breaking up my outline. When season rolls around, I have several choices on where to sit. One of them will be best given the wind that day. I got some chuckles when I first started doing this, but no more. It has been very effective.

Having the coffee table in front of your chairs is a little over board though.

Thank jnelson. Is it easy to put up? How high do you sit? I will be rifle hunting FYI. And 400 bucks is nothing when I fully expect to shoot a MONSTER!! The big bucks are in there thick, just can't see them!

I just looked it up. The one I found is a blind, I need a stand, I gotta be up at least 10 feet. I have seen those bog tri-pod stands for sale, I need somrthing likr that, that I can put up and down easily. Any more suggestions?
