I have a sks. I love to shoot it. but when I try to find the cheap ammo like wolf and other brands like that. I can't find it. I was talking with a friend of mine in south haven who owns the gun shop there (South Haven is by Annandale) and he said that all the cheap ammo is going over to the middle east. I was talking with another guy at h&h in Maple Lake and he said the same thing. Have any of you guys heard this too?? I just want cheap ammo to shoot my gun and yotes.

If this keep up I might have to buy a few cases of 7.62x39mm.

I bought a bunch of surplus 7.62 x 51 for my FN-FAL from a place called "Cheaper than Dirt" a couple years back. I also got a case of hardball .45 ACP from them that shot very well. Once you get on their mailing list, they'll keep sending you catalogs.

If you are near a Fleet Farm or a Shinders, pick up a copy of the Shotgun News, and there are usually places to get cheap ammo for your SKS.

I just saw a couple of dealers selling it at the Pine city gun show on Saturday.

Most were asking 125 for a 1000 rounds.
