PK3
I have a Strikemaster lazer mag and Mad dog ATV mounts. It seems that the auger will have to be mounted on the four wheeler rack so the tank is facing down. Is this the only way to mount it onthe rack? If so, any problems with fuel leaking out? Thanks
0 PerchJerker
On my Jiffy the fuel cap is on one end of the tank (vs. not in the middle of the tank). When I put the auger on my atv I make sure it's turned so the fuel cap is on the high end of the tank. And if I'll be transporting it on the atv I only fill the tank 2/3 of the way full. Has worked good for me for years.

0 icedoctor
I have a Strikemaster and I have the Arctic Cat Auger holder. I have it mounted so the gas tank is on the bottom. I think it just makes more sense this way.
0 Dave
PK3,Email me and I'll send you photos how I mounted mine with the gas tank up (Cabelas Mad Dog HSOforum ad phot even shows the gas tank in the down position I see) The half moon plastic rests on the auger handle sit right on top of the auger mounts, and then gets strapped in. Worked with the gas tank up for me.
