Need baitcaster recommendations

Time to get a new baitcasting reel that will be used only for casting. No flippin' or trolling. I'd like to stay around $100 if possible. I have mostly Shimano and have had good luck but am open to other brands. My requirements are that it casts well, has a good drag and has an externally adjustable brake. The ones I've used have magnetic brakes but centrifugal brakes are fine as long as they work. I don't like the brakes where you have to open up the side plate to adjust them.

check out the flueger purist 79.99 i own two and need more there is no external brake but they work great right out of the box. thew external break usually messes me up anyway

Walmart is clearing out their old style curados for $69 right now. It's the bargain of the century. If you can find one (the word is out and they're going fast) buy one. Also the new Citica which is replacing it at that price point ($120) is going to be awesome.

I'd suggest the old style Curado if you can get one (he he he, I picked up three on Tuesday). But, you do have to flip the side open to adjust the weights.
