Post on Strikemaster lazer auger - angle off

was looking for the post where some one took their lazer into strikemaster because it was not cuting. had something to do with the pitch or angle of the blades being off. Could not remember where is was located. was looking to find out if that was the lazer mag ultra (3 blades) Am having problems with mind not cuting without a fair amount of down pressure on it.

Had the same auger.Didn't cut worth a hoot. Took it to stikemaster and they gave me a new one of my choice. Very good service. They are in Big Lake. They told me you either loved it or hated it. Thats why they were doing the exchange.

I had a problem with the angle on the auger blades as well.

The put it in a jig they had there at the shop in Big Lake and got it back to where it should be.

All while I waited.

Works perfect again.

i had one too. they gave me a 2 blade lazer. works 10 times better.

Green n gold on the Duluth forum just did this and had great service from them at Big Lake. They did 2 augers and gave him new blades for a set that broke all for 5 bucks.
