Some strange weather we are having, hopefully it gets below freezing friday night and freezes some ice back up, could be a mild messy slushy weekend?

This is unbelievable. One of these winters we're going to get smacked hard to make up for these mild ones. I must say that this helps with the heating bills though.

Don't worry RR, Whitewood is only about 5 ft deep. You can stand on your hood until the tow truck comes.

I worked outside for forty years and I'm enjoying this weather for sure. I like to fish on the hard water, but my boats and camper are getting lonely. Hopefully I'll still be around for the next hard water season.

Unbelievable. I've been out 3 times and only once for more than an hour. My ice season looks to be done. I start calving in 3 weeks and there can't be safe ice between now and then by looking at the forcast.

No kidding, what a difference a couple weeks make, wow is it cold, I think I will be staying inside sat for sure, but sunday and monday I will be out. I dont mind the cold fishing, but setting up and moving around etc, really makes me wonder about ice fishing, of course if I could get the fish to cooperate it wouldnt be to bad.

I walked accross campus today and got an "ice cream" headache!!!! I believe the high was -2 degrees.
