Well, we had a few bucks make it through the season. I've been getting some pretty good pics the last couple weeks. I figure we have around 6 different bucks in the area. They winter in my Inlaws woods and they always feed them a little through the winter. None of them have dropped their horns yet. You can see in the one pic the one buck only has one horn but it looks like he broke it off right by the brow tine. I actually seen him during the muzzleloader season. Anyways, makes a guy anxious for next year....

nice buck you got in the pic... what kind of camera is that, if you dont mind me asking. Greenbush.. Not too far from my farm 10 miles east of Middle River.

The pics were taken with a Moultrie game camera. The El cheapo from Walmart. It's only 1.3MP but for what I use it for it works. It uses a 6 volt rechargeable battery and the battery lasts for what seems like a good time. It has an expansion slot for extra memory so that's what I use. I've been pretty happy with it so far....

where did you get the 6 volt recargable for the moultrie?

I got the 6volt rechargeable from Cabelas....

I've also got the $100 Moltrie from Walmart. It takes ok pictures but is a battery hog!! I'll have to try the 6 volt rechargeables.

Has anyone tried the attaching their trail camera to a solar charger?

As a side note....the bucks just started to drop their horns this weekend. We found 3 sheds. The cold weather must have made a difference.
