0 Fishinglund
I have a 2002 60 HP EFI Mercury Four-Stroke, and I'm just wondering if I should add any special fuel additive to keep the motor running smoothly. I haven't had any troubles with it, but I'd like to know what everybody else thinks. Thanks,Fishinglund
0 IFallsRon
If you're regularly putting in fresh gas, you shouldn't need any additives.
0 Xplorer
I'll second seafoam. I add a can to the 90 four stroke first tank, another in the middle of the season, and have it in from Labor day on (never know when the "last day out" will be).I use it in all my engines, lawnmower, snowblower with good results so far.Xplorer

0 Norsky
I was told not to use seafoam as a stabilizer, only use it to clean out the carbs etc.

0 bbells
I use seafoam in all my machines - 1943 tractor, bobcat, airplane, truck, Porsche, boat etc. I don't think I would use it in every tankful, though. Just once or twice a year is enough.
