Mr. Pike1
When traveling over 30 mph in my boat my electronics always loses contact with bottom and either gives me no reading or a false reading ofdepth continue to increase 80, 90, 100 ft etc. Any advise? 0 PerchJerker
Your transducer is loosing contact with it's signal, probably due to interference from the bottom of your hull. Make sure your transducer is slightly below your hull, and tilt it so it will be parallel to the bottom when you're running over 30. You may need to move the transducer to a new location to get away from interference caused by rivets, seams, etc. Good luck.
0 bucketmouth64
I had the exact same problem. I had the boat in the shop for some repairs and explained the problem with losing the signal. They said the rivets on the bottom might be interfering with the transducer so they removed it and put on a mounting board and moved the trandsducer over a little.
