Nice looking sled. Do you know how long is it from ski tip to rear bumper? Front bumper to rear bumper? I'm trying to figure out if it would fit on a 5x8 foot trailer.

Ski tip to rear bumper is 10'

Front bumper to rear bumper is 8'7"

Width is 44"

It should fit fine on a 5x8 trailer unless the trailer has large sidewalls all around it. I haul it on a 8x8 snowmobile trailer fine.

Pull start. It is carburated, one carb...twin cylinder. Very simple snowmobile, nothing fancy like the high performance machines.

By the way this I believe this is a 1999, I think you may have the wrong year listed. The 1998 340 model was a JAG. Look at the serial number on the tunnel and manufacturers date. By the way it looks really nice and well cared for.

lots of luck, you're incorrect. This machine was manufactured in August 1997, to be exact, with 1998 serial numbers.

Ooooooooooooooooopppppppps!!!!!!!!!

I saw Pantera and Panther on another HSOforum and it all blended together as Pantera. I don't wear glasses and maybe I should consider getting my eyes checked. Or maybe it is all the of the 2 stroke fumes I have inhaled from my past Arctic cats.

I owned two different models from 1998, including the 600 EXT 2-Up Touring and the ZL 500. Enjoyed them both.

Your sled would make an excellent ice fishing machine. especially in low snow conditions, being a fan cooled. This sled is also going to run forever on a tank of gas.

Surprised it has not sold yet, appears to be a great buy, someone is going to get a good deal and a lot of people are going to just miss out on a great little sled!!
