Where do you guys take your reels to get cleaned?

I have 3 Pfleuger president baitcasters and I'd like to get them cleaned up and do preventative maintenance. Last time I tried to clean a baitcaster of mine I had to take it in somewhere to get their help to put it back together. I am not mechanically inclined to say the least!

So...what do you do? and who do you know that may service pfleuger?

I have all my baitcasters at Garys Custom Rods & Reels in Anoka right now. I told him take them all apart, and put em back together and replace any parts that are worn.

In fact the guy in the cube next to me is talking to Gary right now.

I have mine done at Anglers Paradise. He is in the same building as Trails End bass pro shop in Fridley

hwy 65/osborne rd. I have my Trion serviced there.

WOW... I am feeling kind of overworked! I take all mine into the basement and carefully pull them all apart one at a time and clean them up. Then put it back together lube the spots that need to be lubed and go from there. Never had a problem and gives me something to do when the TV is on. My dad used to give me his to clean up as well so I suppose that is part of the enjoyment that I get out of it. Have a good one and N Joy the Hunt././Jimbo

I live in Lakeville. Anoka is a long drive. Does anyone know of any place on the south side of the Cities to bring reels? I have a pinnacle and 2 or 3 shimanos I would like to have serviced this off season. Thanks for the help.
