has anybody had any experinece with this cartiridge.i have read the ballistics. and was lookin for real life experineces. better than the .223 or the 22-250 pors and cons

I have the 204, and I like it for varmits because it blows up inside, and doesn't exit like the 22-250 with a large hole. Very good on Fox and Coyotes, and no good for Deer unless you do all head shots CAJ

In MN we cant use a 204 for deer. Too small by the DNR regs.

There is a ton of information over on Predator Masters on the .204 Ruger. Its the "latest and greatest" for the ballistics/performance guys to play around with, and you will get all your questions answered just by reading through the guns and reloading threads.
