Ice Houses Going Out This Weekend??????

Just read on the ClementsonAccessOnRainyRiver Resort site that there is 4" of ice at Four Mile Bay on Lake of the Woods. Morris Point has 2". The resort is thinking of putting out houses this weekend. You can check out their HSOforum if you don't believe me. What are everybody's thoughts?

Geezum Crow !!! Yesterday I was looking at 4 ft. waves on Lake Champlain and today at 68 degree temps !!! It just ain't right I'm tellin' yeah..... it just ain't right.

Whoa guys!!! Shut your trucks off and get back in your houses. The post says they are planning on taking the permanents out next weekend around the 8th or 9th. With a week-long forecast of lows at zero or below, that week will make a lot of difference.

This is great news as I was worried there might not be ice up on LOTW for next weekend. Now we might be asking ourselves if we want to drive our vehicles out next weekend or ATV's??
