Tail Chasing

Does anyone elses lab chase their tail? Is this a boredum thing...? Is it a lab thing or just an individual dog thing?

I think that is just a "Any Dog" thing. Most pups I've been associated with have tail chased at some point, not that its alot of dogs.

My year and a half lab still enjoys chasing his tail, usually when wound up and in a fiesty, playfull mood. Yes I think it is a lab "thing". Wears him out a little, not a bad thing.

I have a spinger spaniel with a docked tail. Its only about 2 inches long, but he still tries to chase it. I think it an any dog thing, and even if they don't have much of a tail.

My blackmouth cur loves this! She's got about a foot and a half long plus tail though.

My 11 year old springer still chases his now and again. It's docked so he usually just gets a mouthfull of hair.

I have seen German Sheppards do it.

My female lab does it when she seems happy . She is only a year old so I think it is still kid of a puppy thing.
