Big Prob....my brother in law to get married during game 6 of world series

My wife's brother will be married on October 29....which is game 6 of the World Series here in Chicago....and I have 4 tickets. I'm also standing up in the wedding. I talked to my wife about this, and it doesn't seem going to the game is an option. I don't think it's fair. Just wanted to know what you would do if you were in my shoes. Too many people have told me I have to go to the ceremony and skip the reception. I really hope they sweep and don't put me in this most of difficult positions.

Oh yeah, did I mention the wedding is just north of Milwaukee?

That stinks! But you have to do what is right and stand up in that wedding.... with a small portable TV in your Tuxedo pocket!!!!! Color preferable,

but B & W would suffice! I was at a wedding this past Saturday sitting up in Windows over Minnesota (top of the IDS tower) and found out that the guy sitting next to me was Jim Sexton the former kicker for Notre Dame... needless to say he was supposed to be apart of the alumni festivities that take part and his team was playing USC... #1 team etc!!! He was so stoked when they were up 10 late in the game.. he disapeared to see the end of the game downstairs somewhere and when he came back was NOT happy.... but he was a good sport and just shook his head in disbeleif. I assume you'll be a good sport as well. It has to be tough.... remember that there may not even be a game #6.

Commanche,

Let me know if the family wins out and you need to unload those tix. I have many people here who are salivating for a ducket or two. But the way the four horsemen are tossing the horsehide, we should have this thing wrapped up by hump day, Thursday at the latest!

YOU CAN PUT IT ON THE BOARD...YES! Windy

Windy,

I can just imagine the demand for tickets in Chicago. I went on hsolist and there was nothing under $3500 for 2 tickets. I am glad I got 2 tickets and I have 3 days and counting till I leave.

Lucky dog.....I think you predicted 3 straight victorys for the Sox in Anaheim to rap up the series...I thought you were nut's.

Good Job.

Thanks Pier.

Anaheim team was too injured. I think missing Colon was the biggest hit. Chicago is going to be a tough team to beat if their hitting and especially pitching holds. I think I was lucky, the lucky thing for me was getting 2 tickets and didn't have to pay a thing for them. laugh.giflaugh.gif
