Anyone know of a reasonable taxidermist in the metro area for ducks? Specifically a drake hooded meganser.

Another FMer and myself had a great weekend shooting the birds - and one tree with an arrow (missed)

Jack Hanson does the best ducks I have ever seen. He is a little spendy I think $250 a duck, but man are they ever good looking. I can get his number if you want. We have had probably 2 dozen ducks done by him for my brothers and my dad and me.

Rick Hill Taxidermy in Hudson. Does incredible work. He isn't cheap and it takes a while but the outcomes are fantastic.

One of the better priced ones also.

He has done a snow, blue and woodie for me. They are great.

Jim's Lakeland Taxidermy in Mound right off Hwy. 7. He has done all my mounts and I think they look great. You will have to wait a bit to get it returned. He's busy for a reason...he does nice work!

Taxidermy Unlimited, 1405 Cliff Road, Burnsville, Mn. I have seen some awesome pheasant and exotic bird mounts from them. Talk to Greg and tell him I sent ya. He might cut you a deal and me one in the future.
