bennelli_dude2002 asked if I would post this pic for him.

"Taken in 2005 in Ontario side on Lake of the Woods Canada with Knight 50 cal at a too-close-for-comfort range of 10 yards. Antler spread is 61 1/2 inches. Haven't had it scored yet. I call it my "grand slam " because now I shot moose with rifle, bow, shotgun and now finally a muzzleloader." benelli_dude2002

Benelli:

Congrats! Only hunted them once, with a video camera during my cousin's MN hunt.

I don't know what you were afraid of, from the looks of the photo, you're about 6' 8" and could've taken him without the 50. cal. grin.gif

It wasnt that I was afraid or scared, its just that was the closest I ever been to moose and for the last few minutes of the moose's life he stood there not giving me a good broadside shot. He was either walking straight at me or slightly quartering to me. He finally turned broadside and I let him have it. What a rush though. Oh by the way I am only 5ft 11in myself and I didnt alter with the photo to make me look taller, like I would know how to anyways cuz i couldnt even post the picture myself. I did email a photo and short story to Hornady and they put it on their site in the scrapbook section. Dad and i keep talking about bringing a camcorder to video a hunt or even just get a moose on tape but we never done it yet. Just to have moose come in to a call is quite the thrill and to shoot him is a bonus. Happy hunting! Brian
