Geez, you Sox fans are still whining about that play with Hunter eh? It's baseball, collisions happen. If one of your guys did it, they would probably erect a statue on the south side for whoever did it. I don't need to watch it on replay, I saw it when it happened.

About how good your sox are.....

I guess we'll see in October. Hopefully you win at least a game. Well maybe not, because if you do, you arrogant Chicago fans will rub it in everyone's faces. Try being humble for a change. If every Sox fan I've ever run into wasn't that biggest bragger and smack talker, maybe I could cheer for you guys.

That was a collision that should not have happened. It was on purpose.

And our arrogance is non-existant at this point. But I guarantee it will be nowhere near the arrogance of you Twins fans........well, at least your arrogance pre-all star break. Go back and look at your posts.

Actually, rubberneck...........depending on where you are from, we may have had more snow down here than you. I put a couple hundred miles of Illinois snow on last year.....same with the year before.

He's from the Iron Range Jim....which means he has put on more miles in 1 weekend then you have in the last 2 years...

Commanche,

Sorry to be a little late to the party on this one but I have been out of town and wanted to put my $.02 in on this as I have never understood the hype over this play. First, I am 38, so maybe you will give me a little more credibility then Sled, although I don't know what age has to do with him having a opinion. I have had a concussion from a pointless hit in a meaningless hockey game (preseason tuneup against some Junior B hacks in college). I did take it like a man. It was legal, it was my fault for letting up, my def. fault for giving me a poor pass and the guy on the other team owed me nothing other than to play hard and expect the same from me. I see it as Hunter played hard, took a legal shot when the opportunity was there and Burke got leveled. The rules state that the catcher can't block the plate with any part of his body or equipent unless he has the ball. In other words, if he is in ramming range and does not have the ball he is in error. If he has the ball or acting like he is receiving the ball he is fair game and it is a legal play. A hard play, but legal. A 10 - 0 game may be one thing but if memory serves it was a 5 run game, with a couple of innings to play and in today's game 5 runs isn't a blowout or absolutely safe.

    • got this tackled today took about 3 hours to get both sides done. Didnt even get to use a torch....   Thought I was golden with just jacking it up and I could get to everything but no luck. Had to remove the entire axle hub and brake assembly to get to what I needed. Was a pain but still better then taking off the entire pivot arm.    Axle bearings were already greased and in great shape thankfully. Got both leaf springs installed and its ready for the road again.   Probably going to have my electric brakes checked, I am not touching anything with the brake drums. Based on what I saw it doesn't look like my electric brakes have been working anyway. Brakes are nice to have if its slippery out
    • By The way that didn't work either!! Screw it I'll just use the cellular.
    • It’s done automatically.  You might need an actual person to clear that log in stuff up.   Trash your laptop history if you haven’t tried that already.
    • 😂 yea pretty amazing how b o o b i e s gets flagged, but they can't respond or tell me why I  can't get logged in here on my laptop but I can on my cellular  😪
    • I grilled some brats yesterday, maybe next weekend will the next round...
    • You got word censored cuz you said        B o o b ies….. haha.   Yeah, no… grilling is on hiatus for a bit.
    • Chicken mine,  melded in Mccormick poultry seasoning for 24 hours.  Grill will get a break till the frigid temps go away!
    • we had some nice weather yesterday and this conundrum was driving me crazy  so I drove up to the house to take another look. I got a bunch of goodies via ups yesterday (cables,  winch ratchet parts, handles, leaf springs etc).   I wanted to make sure the new leaf springs I got fit. I got everything laid out and ready to go. Will be busy this weekend with kids stuff and too cold to fish anyway, but I will try to get back up there again next weekend and get it done. I don't think it will be bad once I get it lifted up.    For anyone in the google verse, the leaf springs are 4 leafs and measure 25 1/4" eye  to eye per Yetti. I didnt want to pay their markup so just got something else comparable rated for the same weight.   I am a first time wheel house owner, this is all new to me. My house didn't come with any handles for the rear cables? I was told this week by someone in the industry that cordless drills do not have enough brake to lower it slow enough and it can damage the cables and the ratchets in the winches.  I put on a handle last night and it is 100% better than using a drill, unfortatenly I found out the hard way lol and will only use the ICNutz to raise the house now.
