0 Eric Wettschreck
Here's what I did with my old 10' Sea King. I took a 12 pack cooler. Installed 2 pvc bulkhead fittings. I use a 12v pump and tubing to fill it through one bulkhead. The other bulkhead fitting has a ball valve and tubing going over the side for a drain. Works mint and only costed a couple of bucks. PVC bulkhead fittings at the local hardware store are a couple bucks a pop and some 1/2" tubing is only a couple of bucks. Keeps the beer cold also. 0 blakjack23
I recently sold my 16' lund along with my aftermarket Toho livewell that I bought from basspro. It worked like a charmp, fit perfect, had plenty of room for for fish and I never had a fish die. Here is the link....http://www.basspro.com/servlet/catalog.TextId?hvarTextId=883&hvarTarget=search&cmCat=SearchResults
0 fish-n-geek
If you're looking for easily portable, you can use any cooler. The big C has an aerator kit that suction cups to the inside.-r-
0 hanson
Here's my portable baitwell/livewell. I have to give full credit for this idea to fellow FM member Fisher Dave. Dave's is a tad different but essentially the same. A cooler with a livewell recirculating pump installed into it. I used a pump kit made by Attwood and installed it into the side of the cooler. The water pickup is in the bottom of the cooler and the spray nozzle is at the top. I just run it off of a deep cycle battery. It seams to do the trick and you can take it anywhere. 0 loebs93
I bought all the necessary live-well pieces from Valv this past spring. From the tub and hoses to the pump and fittings the whole thing only cost $41.00. Take that and add some wood and carpet and you get a full functioning live-well. My dad and I built it into the front deck of our small 14 foot Grumman boat. It looks like it was there from the start. It's the coolest thing we've added to that boat, and now I can fish in a few tournaments...It's great. And bye the way…Thanks Valv
