PERCHJR
I used to be a Jarret fan, it's sad that he is suppose to be a Veteran out there but he didn't show it at Bristol!!! Guess he should be on his Retirement tour also!!! GOOD LUCK AND GOOD FISHING!!!
Sifty
From what I saw I think they both have to take a good look in the mirror. I guess that you could they both had a big part in that one or two.Sifty
PERCHJR
I agree Sifty, but all I am saying is that you would think that Jarret being an Veteran he would have more sense than that to take Newman out after he got spun out!!! I love the small tracks on there schedule but this kind of dump always happens and nothing good comes out of it!!! Me off course being a EARNHARDT fan!!! GOOD LUCK AND GOOD FISHING!!! Uncle Bill
Bad enough he wrecked the #12, but he also wrecked himself, and the #29. How embarassing.
OUTDOORNUT
And it wasn't even a full moon, but there is something about Bristol that make the tempers flare. Jarrett is Old School, punt him and your going to get punted. Perch, If you were an Earnhardt fan, Jarretts move had to remind you a little of the #3! You must have forgotten his favorite move....... the bumper!!
Sifty
I was going to post this but it ties into what is being said here. I know it will get the Gordon haters going. What was the story with Vickers and Gordon. It sounded from the radio chatter that Mr. Gordon may of had a little talk with Mr. Vickers.Sifty
outdoor ran
I think Dj is just frustrated. He just dosen't seem to have it anymore. He has said before how he dosen't like how the young guns don't respect the old drivers. I thought it was a pretty exciting race.
bearplott
The whole Yates organization is struggling, not just DJ. I think it's about time somebody punts some of these young guys back that just run over people. If you do it, you should not be suprised if it happens back. lawdog
I agree Bear, this new generation of drivers is very aggressive and they expect to be able to move people out of the way whenever they need to and paybacks are what you get when you race people that way, that's just the way it is. Rusty should have done that to Newman last year already and Kurt Busch is about the worst when it comes to pushing his way through places he shouldn't be.I didn't think the Vickers/Gordon deal was any big thing, they both said it was nothing, just hard racing. Guest
You get raced the way you race,if you want to be an agressive racer then when the others racers race you the same, the paybacks happen. The young racers think today that they can do as they please and nothing should happen to them.Paybacks are h-ll,maybe the only way some of these guys will learn. You cannot let them push you all over the tracks.Way to go Jarret. PERCHJR
Hey OUTDOORNUT, it brings back good memories!!! If I am not mistaken they did call him the INTIMIDATOR for a reason!!! GOOD LUCK AND GOOD FISHING!!!
PERCHJR
Jeffy was just being himself, a cry baby!!! Maybe NASCAR could pass a rule where they could install tissue dispensers in a few cars out there!!! If he would have did it to Vickers nothing would have been said but since Jeffy is in the chase they made a big deal of it, Jeffy would have just called it racing!!! GOOD LUCK AND GOOD FISHING!!! sheepheadslayer
being an aggressive racer and a dumb racer are two different things. What Jarrett did was dumb plain and simple. Why throw your whole car at a person when you can get behind them and spin them out without taking yourself out. He pretty much gave up his spot in the chase and wrecked other cars as well. I would have spun him out also but been a little bit careful in doing it so my own car would have been saved. My view.
lawdog
Probably didn't matter much sheep, NASCAR would have been watching him at that point and they would have penalized him anyway. He might have had enough damage from Newman punting him that he felt his car was not going to be able to run competitively and he'd have lost those spots anyway. Having said that, I don't disagree it wasn't that smart, but in reality, its typical Bristol warfare.
NAPAFISH
Question for the racers out thereI missed the race, so I do not know if this happened butLets say you have a faster car, you know it and the driver in front of you is not moving or what not. Do you let him know that by just tapping him?? Let him know you are there right?? If he doesnt move then move him, correct?!?! Didnt Sr drive like that?? Its all about the delivery I think
