0 fivebucks
I don't have any company recommendations but one thing to be aware of is that unless you have a cellular backup, all a would be thief has to do is cut your phone line to disable the system with no alarm. IMO they are not worth it unless you get the cellular backup and pay the extra fees.
0 say_der
Maybe that's a problem for me - I don't have a landline. I use a broadband phone. I do have E911 service thru my provider.I disconnected everything coming form the phone company at the network interface unit on the outside of my house. So a theif couldn't cut it and disable the alarm - but maybe the security company wouldn't even install a system for me.

0 irvingdog
The P.O.'d German Wirehair, and the savvy Springer never fail............And when their job is done, the Irishman in his boxer shorts will come down the stairs with an extended mag 870 filled with high velocity 8's, and a Surefire flashlight bright enough to light the neighborhood.Good luck................ 0 Slyster
Call Schmidt Security. They are a smaller firm.. install quality stuff.. not wireless junk which WILL drive you crazy and become less useful as you put off battery changes. They also have monitoring for really good prices.. we play maybe $100/year. Not sure about Cell phone details but they can do it.. they are very custom install for each job etc..
