Thanks guys it's a 99 Blazer and had factory wire harness to the back but no connector so I did that a couple of years ago and couldn't remember what wire did what, also thanks for the fuse tip I'll check that first hopefully that will keep me from crawling around on my hands and knees grin.gif

Checking fuse is #1. Had the same problem with 1 year old trailer. Mice had gotten into the trailer frame and had a smorgasboard with a clearance light wire. Replaced and wala! When will trailer manufacturers figure it out? This winter I am going to run all my trailer wires inside of corregated black tubing. Should cut down on problems other than connections at the lights.

I have the same running light problem on my car. We attached the hitch and wired mine a few weeks ago, and boy was it ****(really hot place no one wants to go). I have a saturn car(yea yea, real outdoorsey I know) that had the craziest wiring in the trunk ever. Had weird light panels, with really randomly colored and very out of order wires. Thankfully we found one of those gadgets that tells you when a wire is being used, so we figured it out. All except the running lights. Argghh.

Another thing you can add to your trailer if you want is me and my dad stuuffed that steel thread suff(can't remember what its really called) in all the holes and put calking all around it. It works great. We havent a problem yet.( we store the trailer outside when our boat is in the lake) We did it to trailer when we bought it three years ago. also it doesn't even look tacky, person could barely notice it. You can use differnt colors to match you trailer like white or black
