Minnesota Trappers Assoc. Summer Convention

The summer convention will be held Friday August 5 th thru Sunday August 7 th 2005 in Barnum Minnesota. The convention will be held at the county fairgrounds. Which are right on 35 north freeway. Gate fee is 5 bucks cheaper if you are a member.

There will be an auction of hunting and trapping supplies. Demos by the top trappers in the country and from Minnesota. Hundreds of trapping supply dealers will also attend.

It's a great place to learn about trapping from the best and novices alike. Pick up supplies and check out a demo.

I just got that great newsletter/mini-magazine on Friday. Wow, the MTA did a super job with that, excellent idea to send it to everyone who bought a trapping license last year.

Sorry I can't make the convention this year, our RMEF chapter has a sportings clays event on the 6th.

Too bad, as my dad was born and raised in the Moose Lake/Barnum area. That would be a great excuse to go do some visiting and camping.

Usually don't miss one, what is worse is it is just a jont down 35 from me. We are slated to be chasing some monster Kings on Lake Michigan that weekend. Why must summer by so full? ha ha
