st cloud area campground

looking for a campground with in 60 miles of st.cloud that has sites on the water that has a swimming beach for the kids.

There's a KOA by Clearwater that is close the Warner Lake County Park. Rancho Manana near Cold Spring is an option. I think there's camping at the county park near Annandale but there's not much else with swimming.

You can go to Shroeder's park. It has sites on the lake,boatlanding,playground and it's all right together. A really nice campground but the old lady that runs it is kinda awnry most of the time but her husband is pretty cool. If you go you better make reservations early. Oh yeah it's between Clearwater and Annandale directions are 94 to Clearwater, south on HYW 24, east on CTY RD 39 take your first right and drive 1/2 mile and look to your right. (can't miss it)

About 75 miles from St.Cloud but closer from Avon. An awesome swimming beach about a block long. Good fishing, walking trails, etc. Lower campground has sites a stones throw from the lake.

Haven't been to it in a while but Koronis Regional Park used to be very nice with good people running it. Been a few years but try that.
