pics have been sent. dont know if its a long or short shaft but it is 28 inches from the top of transom to centerline of the prop. May be able to locate the service manual for it.

i have a 15' alumnacraft boat that had a 25hp johnson but the lower end went out would be willing to trade

so i bought another boat and the motor was bad on it so i am looking for good motor to replace the one i have. 55hp is smaller then what the boat has on it now but for a good motor i would be very intrested. i live in cottage grove,mn so coming to look at motor is a very good possibility. i also would like to know if there is any thing wrong with motor and why u want to get rid of it?
