6 and 2 drivers

Recommended Posts

Since there is no real talent available for next year, what do you guys think will happen to these seats now? I think both will be filled with a lameduck driver until something good comes along. Maybe McMurry (sp?) will take the 2 until Sam Hornish is ready for it. Hornish already drives for Penske and that was rumored a few years ago.

As for the 6, I think Marlin will get the ride for one or two years until they can find a good, young hotshoe to fill the seats.

I don't think that they will put Craven in the 6, and if they do it won't be long term. He was one of the "lame duck" drivers I was thinking about. Truex would be good. I really think they are looking for young and talented.

Craven will be a good fit in the truck series but he still dosen't have a win. Second in points yes but no wins.

Trying to think of the guys out there that have Nascar experince. Ward Burton , John Andretti,Skinner, Benson, Spencer,. I guess If one was to go that route. I like to see Ward get back into a car.

How could I have forgotten Ward Burton??? This is a guy that definely deserves a good ride. He's a Daytona 500 champion a Southern 500 champion and he won a few other races too. Besides that, look at where he always ran good and it was low grip tire saver type places. I would think this new rules package would fit him real well.
