Jonesin4eyes
Saturday’s wet weather didn't slow the fishing down for the first Metro Let's event! Some big weights came in, given the revised format this year (shorter time and fewer allowed species). The average weight per fish was over 3 pounds! Several bass and pike over four pounds were caught. Big Bass were caught on the humps using a variety of presentations (Crankbaits, Spinnerbaits, Buzzbaits, Jig Worms, etc...) and in the bays. The larger northerns fell to trolled crankbaits on the outside of the weed edges. The Carp were in spawning and given the clear water were a lot of fun to watch in the morning. Chris/Brent – weighed 3 bass for a total of 6.9 poundsTeam Jighead – weighed 6 bass and 3 pike for a total of 28 pounds. Big fish was a 4.8 pound largemouth. Bob-n-Stovetop – weighed 6 bass and 3 pike for a total of 29.1 pounds. Big fish was a 6.6 pound pike, they also had a 4.4 pound largemouth. Chris-Neises
Wish we would have headed out to the main lake and tried those humps. I thought I' stay in the north arm and work the west bays. We found fish there on Labor Day, but apparently had moved on. Ridiculous numbers of crappies in those areas though. Rob, Have you given any more thought to opening up for individual events, and adding another lake? I'm pretty much agreeable to anything. A small lake like Coon would be kind of fun. BDR
If it is opened up Matt and I would join for 2 events that don't conflict with Statewide. With such few teams it also may spark interest for next year if some new faces experience 1 or 2 events.
mrclean
I also would do probably two events.

Chris-Neises
Has any decision been made to allow individuals to compete in the remaining events?
