mwktrapper
The best way to explain the Power Hunter is that it's like laying in a camo sleeping bag. I like how light it is and that it's a backpack - very portable. But it's not the most comfortable and your gun is held outside of the blind. Also if it's raining, you get soaked through the big "bug eye" and the water holds in the blind.
Nova
I like the power hunter because I use a short reed call which requires 2 hands to properly operate and you can do that very easily while inside the blind. A lot of the blinds your face is outside the blind and warey geese will see your hands move on the call. With the power hunter your face and hands are concealed, yet you can see very well. They are also very light, easy to set up and inexpensive....but not cheap.
Ben1022
Nova and trapper said it about as accurately as can be said. The Power hunter is incredibly easy to pack, set up and use. All you compromise is the comfort and the gun being on the outside of the blind. But, consider the time typically spent in the blind and it may be for you. Also, the Cabela's Interceptor is another one I have. More comfort and easily put my lab in the bottom of it or at the head of the blind. For the money, you can't go wrong w/either of them. Getting one of each was a great move, in my opinion. I really enjoy using both of them in any situation. Plus, your pal that doesn't have one will appreciate having something to be in rather than covering up w/corn husks etc and will likely buy one!! Enjoy. Kodiak
i have a finisher blind for over a year or so now and the foam headrest part with the downtubes give me fits all the time coming out of the frame where they connect, it is a pain.
Nova
I've had mine 2 years now and don't have that issue, infact, mine is pretty tight and kind of hard to get apart. I don't pull the blind around by that part, but during short moves it stays in.
