Midwest Rod and Reel rocks!!!!

I used my new Midwest Rod and Reel rod on opening weekend. 6 1/2 foot medium light. I was jigging all weekend. It was pretty cool!! I don't think I used another rod all weekend. I had the hot stick! Very nice fishing rods. Hats off to Bill and Al. Thank you.

Double Ditto for me. These rods are fantastic. I hardly used my St. Croix Legends. The new handles felt great. Had others drooling over them. Bill and Al, thanks for a great product and superb service.

They really do have a quality product. The cost of that product depends on what you want. They make each rod after you order it, so the cost is going to depend on which guides you want, reel seat, blank... ect. They had a booth across the isle from the booth I was working at the sportshow this winter. I have to admit, I fell in love with quite a few of them!.. The rods that is.. not bill or al... LOL

I also agree, I have two custom rods built by them and I love them. The only problem is that my other rods are probably feeling neglected

I put a Sahara 2500 on it with 8 pound test for jigging. Oh man! It is sweeeeeeet! And it's still a very light combo.

I hear ya on not wanting to pick up another rod. I've got a 28" med action ice rod from Midwest Rod. I was forced to set it down when the ice went off the lakes.

I used my midwest rods every day since opener. I actually showed them to some people and they liked them so much they ordered one. Bill and Al do great work and go out of their way to make sure your rod is exactly what you want.

I have at least 2 dozen other jigging rods and only used 1 other one for about a few hours this week. That was only because that one had high vis line and it got rainy and windy so I was watching my line for hits rather than feeeling threw the rod.

Im very happy with my Midwest Rods and recomend them to anyone looking for a high quality custom made rod. Good Fishin.
