The Winglocks just seem to fit my style perfectly. I have about 20 short reeds, but I will not go out without my Winglock short reed delrin. I have a SMH too, but it really blows differently than the Winglock so I usually leave it at home. They are great calls, but just not as easy for me to operate. Some other calls that I really like are the GK calls, Hayes Calls, and Taylor Talkers.

Guest
Big Drift - I use 3. Foiles Acrylic, Primos Mother Poly, and have a Corian by Casey's Calls. The Corian is tuned really nice and even though I'm by no means great the notes roll out. I will probably have Jeff tune mine at the Game Fair. Send me an email. Nova
Chefjim, there is a huge difference. The best advise I can give you is get the vidoe from Shawn Stahl on short reed calling. He goes over everything thing from hand position and the very basics to double clucking and the diificult calls and does it very well. He explains everything very thoroughly. It made a huge difference for me.

Rost
I am by no means an expert caller. In fact, just switched from a fluit call to a short reed. I went with Zink PC-1. Compared to the Foiles, I felt it was much easier to work with. I bought the Poly Carb to make sure a short reed was for me. Next year, I have plans to go with an acrylic.
