ChuckN
Crappies LOVE Go Devils by Scenic Tackle!!! Gissert and I hit a favorite lake today and had a fun time nailing some nice slabs. He was smoking these fish on a 1/8oz red glow Go Devil. I used my all time trusty 1/16oz and caught several nice fish too. Here's a double whammy. We targeted the deep basin of a lake and found the crappies suspended about 25 feet down in 52 feet of water. When crappies are at these depths it's important to not reel these fish in too fast or they won't be ready for a successful release. You can find everything you need right here for these late season crappies! http://www.tacklecity.com/ Thanks for the great day on da ice Gissert and Juice!! dat Peterbuilt hit da spot!! fisherking01
The go devils do work well on suspended crappies. Could you try to get more background in your pictures? Just kidding. Nice crappies. Are you going to the get together on rainy? I'm always looking for fishing partners and am not far away. I'll be fishing in the Clitherall area on tues. Got to get some stuff done today. Looking forward to the shallow spring bite, site fishing and releasing many OTC crappies. Maybe see you on the ice!

fisherking01
Crow as in Kakagi? I like that lake, as well as Whitefish bay for lakers. Haven't made it up this year, but usually do two or three trips. My daughter is in sports now so not as much time. Heading out now for a late afternoon sunnie-crappie run. Trying a spot that I haven't fished in a month, last time out did well. Good luck on them lakers.

hanson
My biggest producing bait this winter has been an 1/8 oz Go-Devil tipped with EuroLarvae. The Winni perch annihilated it. URL crappies & walleyes were on top of it also. (Yes, I said walleyes on EuroLarvae!) 20 in fact on URL in 1-1/2 hours. No crappies that evening. Switch the Euro's up to a minnow head and LOW walleye and sauger were biting good, and Horseshoe Cats & Crappies were on also! On the lighter side, I usually keep my Abercrombie at home while fishing!
Deitz Dittrich
So, what your saying hanson is this... You just leave the Go Devil tied on and just change the bait, drive around the state and just about catch anything you want? That is too cool!!!! fishnhooks
I was just about convinced that catching fish was a combination of the Abercrombie shirt and Go Devils until hanson said he leaves his Abercrombie shirt at home "hooks"
gspman
The 1/8 glo devil is a wonderbait in my opinion. It's hard for me not to fish one at least for a little while when I go ice fishing. The 1/16 oz'rs work well too. An excellent downsizing lure.
