Plaxico has issues. The reason we need a receiver is we just got rid of one that had too many issues. Plaxico has as many issues as Moss, but about 50% of the talent. It's true we need a receiver, but I'm starting to seriously doubt this kid is the answer. Right now he is without an agent so he won't be signing with anyone for at least 4 more days by NFL rules.

I hope we don't sign him, if we do he will be the least talented FA we have picked up this offseason. I am positive that Burleson is better than he is. Plax has 20 tds in his career, that is not that impressive.

You have to look at what system he's been in in order to make a judgement on his talent. Pittsburg is a run-oriented team. They do not throw the ball as much as other teams and most of their TD's come on the ground.

That being said, I hope they do not sign Burress. He's a head-case.

They need to trade for Darius, giving us the best squad of D-backs in the league, then they need to draft either Mike Williams or the kid out of Michigan, either one could make an impact next year.

But it's hard to know what the scheme will be if we have a new head-coach. Wether he wants to throw or run will be the question and what determines the direction they take.

I guess I'm in the minority here, I say bring in the guy but don't overpay him. It sounds like they offered him a semi low ball contract last week and that was what finally pushed Plaxico to fire his agent. Besides I don't believe he is nearly the head case Randy Moss is or was.

The giants offered him $24 million including $8 million signing bonus and he said no thanks. I don't think anyone else will give him that kind of money. It will be interesting to see where he ends up.

This guy hasn't figured it out yet. He isn't as good as he think he is. If he was in such demand he would've been offered contracts from several teams. He should've taken the Giants money. One reason he declined from what I heard was he is looking for $10 million signing bonus...he wants elite receiver money. His contract offers will now be smaller, he missed out on the money because of his ego. Sound familiar T-wolves fans? What an (Contact US Regarding This Word). I say the Vikes should forget Burress, sign Issac Bruce, and draft a top receiver.

What issues does he have?? From what I have heard he seems to be a pretty level headed guy.
