I was just wondering if Northlander of any of you other guys have been out to wisconsin point yet. It looks like there is some nice ice forming out there today. let me know if anyone wants to go try it out tonight or tomorrow night.

Welcome to FM, I have not heard Northlander talking about WI. Point yet. I did not think there was enough good ice yet. I Have not checked but did you post this in the Duluth forum also? Again welcome to FM.

No ice at all as of Monday. Little chunks floating but thats it. We will need a whole lot of ice or cold weather to get us on Wi. Point this year. I sure do hope it happens though.

sorry guys there was a couple inches of ice off of the point with a lot of thicker ice out farther on the lake being blown in by the NE wind we had yesturday. But when I went back to check on it last night it had all broke up. Sorry again for getting everyone's hopes up.

Ice is in and backed up past Duluth. If we get some cold weather and the right wind it may stay long enough to fish it. I hope so.

Please read my last few posts about Wi. Point in the Duluth Forum. No eyes being caught yet that I know of and the ice is very sketchy!
