Guest
TO HAVE VERY BAD CLOCK MANAGEMENT SKILLS!!!Those last 5 minutes were TERRIBLE. I'm not an Eagles fan, but I'd be screaming for Reid's head after that debacle!
buzzsaw
They were very Viking like at the end of the game...
muskybuck
I am screaming for Reid's head also. Right over on the Packers bench as their head coach.
bucketmouth64
I can hear the Philly fans going nuts over the clock management. What about the close of the first half? Terrible clock management. They could have drove the field for at least a field goal. Brings back memories of Denny doesn't it. On a Vikes note, Espn reports that McCombs has given permission to his front office personnel and Tice to shop Moss in a trade.
fishyguy
Andy Reid is obviously a heck of a coach, but somebody botched the clock management. Sid claimed to have talked to McCombs yesterday and said Red denied that rumor. Of course, Red never lies.
Stratosman
Yeah I heard that too, and if they make it public like that it is usually a sure thing. I would rather see us use the $30mil we have under the cap than trade him away, but I don't see that happening.Oh yeah, that was some horrible clock management, not just by Reid, but why did Westbroook ( I think it was him) catch that ball for no gain near the end of the game, shoulda just knocked it down and saved 15 seconds. Probably too late anyway but you never know.
Down to Earth
I saw that report also on ESPN. Of course Red is going to deny it publically as he has been a Moss supporter and if Moss found out Red is no longer in his corner he will definately not want to come back next year. IF Red has indeed given the go ahead to try and trade Moss, I am totally convinced it has more to do with trying to unload his salary than actually trying to make the team better. The only thing Red is concerned about right now is how much money he can make off the sale of the club. If dumping Moss allows for that to happen then it will be done. I still say trading Moss would be a dumb move on the Vikings part.
fishyguy
Correct....Dumping on of your biggest assets when you are trying to sell the business in not a good move. If he is going to be a cancer he has to go, only those in the locker room know for sure.
