RuKiddingMe
I stopped up Friday afternoon just before they opened and there was a line to get in. Turns out everyone in line went right to the Musky Nut Tackle booth for the Weagles. I was able to grab 2 for myself. I talked to Steve Cady (one of the weagle creators) for a little bit about using them and went back to work. Got what I went for, I could have waited till spring when they are in the stores but the custom colors I grabbed rock, Blk/blue/wht and Blk/Prpl/orange. I can't wait to throw them, sounds like there is a huge learning curve to make them effective. What did you buy?

whitewolf6647
2 belivers, 6 musky buster bucktails, 3 grandmas, custom color topraider form rollie and helen's, 2 custom made inline's form the llungen booth, my 2 year muskies inc membership, couple of those cat's eye's clip on LED lights, muskie shot glass, book "muskies suck" by Pete (GREAT book) and a lakewood tackle box from the esox angler booth. The best part was the wife was with and she had just about as good a time as I did. She picked out 2 of the grandmas, 3 musky busters, and one of the custom bucktails I asked her if she also wanted to join muskies inc but she not right now. It was a great time. Baldy's Baits
The Weagle is not an easy bait to work. Rod, line, and leader are very important with this lure. I use my 7'6 MH Premier with a solid steel leader. Work it slow with alot of slack.
guideman
The weagel is a very heavy bait, you need a heavy action rod to work it effectively, in my opinion. I use an 8ft heavy action AllStar for throwing my weagels. There really isn't just one method when using a weagel, it depends on what kind of action you're looking for. It will glide smoothly side to side, or you can make it pop and glide, much like a larger version of the Jackpot, except it's much heavier and needs to be worked a bit slower.
