Couple of years ago we were out on URL and there was a van stuck out there in an area that they shouldn't really have been in with a 2 wheel drive vehicle, and we watched at least 4 trucks in front of us pass these guys up. It was probably -20 and a 20+ mph wind. You can't believe how happy these guys were when we stopped to help.

I can hardly believe anyone would pass somebody by stuck out there in those conditions trying to dig a vehicle out. confused.gif Kinda heartless if you ask me.

I will always stop and ask if they need assistance... There were a couple of lil ole ladies on the side of the road one tay attempting to figure out how to change a tire. Neither one of them looked like they had the strength to jack the car uip much less break loose the lug nuts. (No I am not being sexist, they were that old and frail) I stopped and changed their tire for them... I was a "Dear sweet person" for doing that, and they were bound and determined they were going to give me a 20 for doing it. I told them what I tell EVERYONE I stop and help, if you see some one in need in the future and you stop to help them, then I will be paid back. Take care and N Joy the Hunt././Jimbo

I know where you are coming from. I could not get my truck started. There was one other truck on the lake, and thank god for him, we tryed to jump start, not work, had to pull off lake to shore. before wrecker service would come get. If not for that one person left on lake and his kindness, I would have been in a bind. I personally think all fishermen on the lake are your friends, you just don't know it until situations arise like your's...

I would like to thank the guys that plow the path to thier fish house. It makes it a lot easier for the rest of us to get out where the action is. I have 4 wheel drive put since I fish by myself or with one of my kids it's just that much easier not having to worry about getting stuck. Thanks again to all of you who PLOW THE LAKE ROADS!

Last week in the strong wind the ice shack next to us tipped over and the guy wasn't there so we tipped it back up and re-packed snow and ice around it. In return the guy gave me some good spots he likes to fish. Pretty good trade off for 10 minutes of work.
