The Chemist
Which size should I get the 1/8 or the 1/4. I typically fish for Cats, crappies and 'eyes. Deitz Dittrich
Personally I really like the 1/8 for Eyes.. Proabably a great size for large craps and cats as well...
Matt Johnson
Go with the 1/8 oz. I've used the 1/8 oz in the past for all the species you've mentioned above. The 1/8 oz jigging spoon is probably one of the most versatile lures. Good Fishin, Matt Johnson
ChuckN
I would recommend 1/16 oz for crappies and gills. Walleye and Cats I think either the 1/4 or 1/8. I prefer the 1/8 oz as that is an easy meal for those fish.
Deitz Dittrich
Also an FYI.. I believe they are now called "GO DEVILS" not glow devils.. same awesome product just a different name! we are 'the leading edge' HSO Creators Rick Posted January 4, 2005 we are 'the leading edge' HSO Creators Share Posted January 4, 2005 The top size asked for is the 1/8 oz with the 1/16 oz Go Devils coming in a close second. There is a fair amount of call for the 1/4 oz Go devils, especially from those who are fishing deeper or going after bigger fish such as walleyes, Lakers, pike and muskie. The Angel Eyes are just as popular and effective as the Go Devils are, as are the Slender Spoons and Demons in the Custom Jigs and Spins Walleye kit and Crappie kits. Wait until you see the IceLeaders Show and how effective these powerful presentationhs can be on Lake of the Woods walleye during the early part of the day as well as Upper Red Lake crappies a little later in the day. Corey Bechtold
I think it pays to have a few of all different sizes. This last weekend I was fishing for Crappies and having a hard time keeping the Sunfish away. I switched to the 1/16 oz Go Devil and started catching Crappies. I also caught some larger sunfish. After dark the glow on the Go Devils really held the Crappies attention. Good Luck,Corey Bechtold
Dennis Steele
Hey Chemist,Been getting a few cats? Hope to hook up with you yet this season. For the cats, I think getting some 1/16thoz and 1/8 oz would be the best options. That is the sizes I like most often for cats. I do use some of the larger 1/4oz Go Devils also but not as often as the other sizes. These sizes work well for crappies and eye's too.
Scenic
Our number one selling size has been the 1/8th oz. followed by the 1/16 that we came out with last season. Personally I use either the 1/4th or the 1/8th oz depending on the mood of the fish and what I am targeting. The Chemist
Unfortunately I haven't had a chance to get out yet. I may attempt next Monday or Tuesday. Gonna try to con my way into leaving Monday afternoon coming back Tuesday. All depends on what the wife allows. I have to go up and get my stuff anyways for my trip to URL/LOW on the 21st. Thus the reason about the Go Devils. I have picked up a bunch of different stuff to expand my tackle. Alot of the stuff I have been getting is Glow Red since that has been my lucky color on the Shoe. Let me know when you go out, I'm suppessed to be not working anymore weekends come the end of the month. Plus w/ my vacation I can get out. Also I may go to a Cath LAb visit in St. Cloud and I believe it is on a Tues or Thurs so I would be able to go out on a Mon or Fri.
we are 'the leading edge' HSO Creators Rick Posted January 5, 2005 we are 'the leading edge' HSO Creators Share Posted January 5, 2005 The horseshoe chain of lakes colors go well beyond just the Glow Red Go Devils and Angel Eyes, perch is nice as is the blue-glow and hammered gold. Anyway, sounds like you have a little well deserved fishing time coming up. Mave fun!! wisepd
Where can I find individual Go Devil jigging spoons? I loaned out both of my glow reds last year at URL and didn't get them back. I like the lures but I don't need a whole new set.
we are 'the leading edge' HSO Creators Rick Posted January 5, 2005 we are 'the leading edge' HSO Creators Share Posted January 5, 2005 If you want a package of all Glow Red just call the toll free number at: TackleCity.com - Click Here - For Deep Discount Pricing. gonzo79
Just got a card of go devils from tackle city and was wondering if your supposed to take that ring on the eye of the lure off or leave it on? Gonzo
Scenic
I would advise leaving them on. We place that extra ring on there to give this product more action. By adding the extra split ring in the nose this product has more freedom to move.

Gonzo Like Jeff said, Leave it on. It really adds to the action of the lure. Also when you tipping it use just a minnow head or waxies/magggots to get more action. Occassionally a full minow will be the ticket. But this really hampers the actiion of the spoon. By the way I love the 1/16 oz spoons for the lakes around here for crappies, and eyes. When I go up to Red, other huge slab lakes or targeting eyes I usually use the 1/8 oz version.
