It sure made my night. I caught my biggest crappie the other night. 12" 3/4# crappie. I was like a little kid after I caught it.

My biggest crappie was 13 inches on a northern minnesota lake. That was until last night when a pulled out a hig. 14 1/2 inches. On lake Washington By St. Peter. You couldn't have slapped the smile off my face

Watching my daughter gobble up the fillets was worth another smile. Luckily, my father-in-law gave me a dinners worth of sunnies, or else I'd be darn hungry tonight watching everyone eles enjoy the crappie. =)

Duffer, this was on Waconia. I've spent many nights on the lake, catching small crappies, couple small sunnies, and a few perch. Out of them, I've only caught 2 that I'd consider keeper sizes.
