Deitz Dittrich
Tom likes his so much he had to say it twice!!!! I agree they make a great unit, I thought the LX1 was a great unit, never expecting a better unit. So who knows what the brain wizzards are thinking of next. maybe more in the lines of interference...
The Yeti
I've owned a Vexilar FL-8 for years and it works just fine.. How much are the Marcum units..
rod bender
They'll run you 4 bills, about the same as the fl-18 or even cheaper if you get the fancy packaged fl-18. Take a look at Thorne bros web site, marine general, or cabelas. You won't be sorry you got a Marcum.
cold one sd
Do they make the LX3 with dual frequency???
rod bender
Not yet. If you're fishing 20' of water with the Lx-3 you'll be covering approx. 7'diameter. If you're worried about getting false readings because of steep dropoffs, I've only had that problem once, and that was with my fl-8 in a gravel pit. Not a major problem on "normal" lakes.
