Taxidermist recommendation

I finally managed to find a buck big enough to make its way onto my wall. I'm looking for a good taxidermist in the cities area. Can anyone recommend anything in the west metro?

I'm in the same boat as you are, I've never had a shoulder mount done before. So I also need a recommendation on a taxidermist. I am from the Ottertail/Perham area. I also kind of messed up the cape while gutting it. I guess I wasn't really thinking shoulder mount at that point. When I saw how big he looked in the back of the truck though, I knew he was a trophy of a lifetime.

John's taxidermy in Hastings does an incredible job on deer and he is as reasonable on price as they get. Good Job on the deer...I hope I'm in the same predicament in 2 weeks in Wisconsin....Ken

If you are willing to drive a little, Gulden's Taxidermy in Rochester is second to none. He has won several awards and does a great job, I have taken both of my deer to him and have been very impressed. Every person I talk to feels the same. He offers several diferent mount styles and ussually has the deer back by May.

Ed's Taxidermy in Coon Rapids. he is Awesome. You wouldn't belive his personal trophy room. Did great work on my friends bear and fish. Has everything from deer to lions in there too. Whole body mounts you name it. Nice guy too.

There is a guy in blaine we took my brothers 10 pointer to last year, and we're pickin it up in the next couple of days. If it looks good we'll drop of this years 12 pointer. I'll tell you who it is if its a good mount. Ill find out first.
