What is the cylindrical item/device sticking out the side of Dave Genz vexilar/the pros vexilars I see in all these ice fishing videos?

There is rod holder that fits this description. It articulates and keeps your reel out of the slush.

No its not a rod holder I have that on mine... It sticks horizontally out from were the screen display is held into place.

Lure Lightning. It's a hands-free LED glow charger... Replaces the knob on the bracket...

Great product. Just had mine replaced after 1 year. LED went bad apparently.

I Emailed Lure Lightning and they overnighted a new one as well as provided packeging to return the bad one...Without even asking!!! I was impressed. Typically companies request a credit card in case you don't return the broken one..They just sent it no questions.

Great customer service...Plus, light is alawys attached to the flasher!

Lure Lightning Im guessing. I love mine. I have a origanel one from when they 1st came out on my LX-5 and a new one on my LX-6. Cant say enough good things about them.
