Where can I get one of those for a Voyager ??? I recently did the top with a cut down cap from 6800 but I have nothing on the sides.

Pike, Welcome to the forum. Can you add more details? How did you do it? One is black the other white? Did you do two or is one a picture of a factory one? I also have a Voyager and having a white inside would be nice on darker days or at night.

it is all custom. it is a fish trap guide that i bought on hsolist for $25. i got the themal materal at the clam "garage sale" for $3. the top and rear panal are attached by the original velco on the tent i just cut slots in the fabric. the top and rear colors change just by flipping it around. the sides are velcroed with 2 sided velcro and the colors change by putting the left on the right and right on left. all the pannels outside edge have a 3 inch ribbon on them so 1.5 on each side. it is one set of pannels and the tent is not modded at all. any more questions please ask.

i dont have enough left to do one pannel. it was not that hard the worst part was swollowing my pride and walking into the craft store lol. mines not for sale but what how much cash do you think i could get for it?

So, when you were in the Craft Store, before I go looking! Did you see any material that would work like the Clam stuff we could use instead?

nope i did not look at fabric, but im sure thier is something for ya

does your trap have ice armor in it?

also call clam to see if they have any themals that were not good enough to sell because you will mod it anyway

Pikemaster, I was thinking about your black/ white sides. My guess is the white should be inside and black to outside. I thinking the black is the thermal barrier depending on what insulation they used, just a guess though. That sure is sweet looking.

how do guys think i should attach the door flap to the pannel?

im also thinking about doing few more mods and going to the thorne bros portable mod. contest in september do any of you guys go to that event?

As far as attaching the inside door panel to the door, I would either use Velcro or you could sew a zipper on to attach it, both would work well. There are a lot of guys from HSO that attend the Thorne GTG in September.

Nice looking mod BTW. I thought of doing this on my clam base camp but never took the time to do it. Be sure to let us know how it works.

I think he means that the white side may not have the moisture block like the black side and it may absorb moisture?

Also, there is a fabric warehouse place in Brooklyn Park called Harris over by Fleet farm that sells all kinds of fabric which may have that kind of material?

Either way it'll be a huge improvment. Just sayin I think by fabric design white to inside. I need to get busy myself making mine.

I lined the inside of my shack with the roll of silver insulation that you can get at menards... i can't remember what its called, but it's a roll of silver insulation. It works great.
