Lost Hunter in Paul Bunyan State Forest?

Just wanted to see if anyone else heard about a lost hunter on Sat in The Paul Bunyan State Forest or if it was just B.S.. Had CO and Sheriff pull into our camp on Sat night and said they had a report of a lost hunter. Someone reported that they heard 3 quick shots after dark. Was sitting by the fire ( 10pm or so ) and noticed an airplane flying low and going back and forth.. Never did hear anything more... Just curious if anyone else has info..

Leech,

I did the same thing and found nothing... Good thing... I know i wouldn't want to be lost out there.  Getting out of our stands on Fri and Sat nights we heard Wolves..

May be the Co's that stopped by found the guy later that night?

We hunted the Bunyan for about 30 years from one end to the other but never saw or heard Wolves. Lots and lots of Brush puppies though. Now we're over below Remer and see and hear them a lot. :(

From my trail cam that was out for 3 weeks. Had one doe and these fellows on it.

They weren't thick in the southern part of 172.  For deer FA deer season this year our party of 8 didn't see or hear any.  No confirmed tracks either.

A few years ago we were plaqued by them.  We figured (hoped) they were cycling through.  It appears to be that way.

i was wondering the same thing, the sherriff called my dad as he had his car parked on a forest road, about 30 min later they had a plane flying around looking for the guy...

Leech, I have noticed the samething, never seen any wolves or yotes on my cameras, but this year we've had a couple different packs do yotes howling around us--in the bunyan that is
