Given some of you a heads up to the conditions we have up here on the NSST ,,,Got a heads up from a fellow HCS member that he was planning to ride today and I agreed to meet up with him in the Lutsen parking lot on the NSST ,,,Unloaded and headed to the Trestle for lunch (had the usual train wreck) then backtracked to just about Grand Marais ,,,there was 8 inches of fluffy powder snow on the trail with 2 tracks in most of it ,,,,I had to back way off my buddy just so I could see the trail ,,,forecast for 3-5 more inches of snow tonite ,,,there are some bumpy areas as the groomers are put to bed for the season ,,but if you can get up here by wed  the riding is some of the best I've seen this season

I sure was tempted to run up but just to many other things going on.

Rob I rode with Troy from our last ride ,,,,the sun was shining  fresh snow  and no one else on the trail ,,,wish I could have given you some notice,,,  as it was one of the nicest rides of the year

Oh well maybe Ill get the sled broke in next year.
