Can you mix oil directly with a Mercury Opti Max motor

Why do you ask this question?  I'd think the oil mix system on the motor is metered so you get an optimum oil to gas ratio at all rpm ranges.  Plus you would probably have to disable the oil alarm since it may start beeping and may even shutdown the motor.

Why the heck would you want to do that? You can't do it anyway.   Excerpt from a Merc mechanic:

There is no way to bypass the oil injection system on these engines.

On the Optimax engines, all of the fuel flows through the fuel injectors. If you were to premix the oil and fuel. The bottom end of the engine (crankshaft and related bearings) would never get oil as there is no fuel/oil mix that is ever in that area of the engine. The fuel injectors fire directly into the combustion chamber, which is above the engine. The oil injection system lubricates what is below the piston, and the oil injection has to be working or else the engine would seize.
