Absolutely love the whole process leading up to the season.  With the new laws this year, my archery tag allows me to hunt opening day.  I have NEVER gotten to turkey hunt on opening day anywhere before. Only 21 days left, but who's counting

Who else id getting really excited???

I am getting pretty pumped. I still haven't decide if I will do the archery or go shotgun. I will be taking my 11 year old son out on the opener. Will  work as hard as I can to get him on birds... I also have never been able to hunt the opener before either.

I'll be hunting in 6 inches of fresh snow in Nebraska tomorrow AM, so to say i'm a bit excited is an understatement!

I'm planning on getting an archery tag this year.  Our normal crew is gathering in the SE for the season B and I plan to join them but I'm really more excited to find a bird around home.  New part of the state, new places to check out.  Being able to hunt the whole season in any zone makes the choice to go archery only, the only choice for me!
