Thinking about buying one of these for 2 reasons. 1 I would like to put a locator on the bow of my boat. ? Do you need a different transducer for bow mount and will DI work on a bow mount or do you go with just a GPS/ sonar unit?

2 I would like to use it on the snowmobile in the winter mostly for GPS but possibly use the sonar at times to? I'm guessing the bow mount ducer would work for ice fishing?

Currently I have a Lowrance 113 at the wheel and not sure if these would interfere with each other.

Normally folks use a transducer in or attached to the bow mount trolling motor with a bow mount sonar.  Whether you want a GPS up there as well is up to you.  I like having it.

DI works if you arrange for a DI transducer.  I use the US2 transducer in my Minnkota so don't get the DI.

Putting an external transducer on the trolling motor is more or less convenient, depending on what trolling motor you have.
