Classic way to eat a real Caesar salad made with whole romaine leaves is with fingers. 

And the classic farm way I've been told had the spoons or something in a water glass in the middle of the table.

Yes, I am.   Hard to avoid as one gets older. But, which do you find bizarre,  the salad or the spoons?

The salad thing......seen the glass with silverware in it...remember that from a camp I went to in Wisconsin during the Summer.
